A teenage singer, 17, has survived a horrific seven-vehicle pile-up on her way to her show in Brazil – and still managed to perform.

MC Melody, whose real name is Gabriela Severino, was traveling with her team from Rio de Janeiro on Saturday afternoon when a bus rear-ended a vehicle on a highway in the town of Barra Mansa.

Federal Highway Police officer Carlos Fernandes told online news outlet G1 that the road where the accident occurred had been congested due to an earlier crash.

‘The van stopped in this traffic jam, and a bus that was coming behind was unable to stop and collided with the back of the van, throwing it into a truck,’ Fernandes explained. ‘And then, other vehicles were also involved in a pile-up, causing only material damage due to this situation.’

At least eight people were treated for injuries, including MC Melody – who has 13.8 million followers on Instagram – and several members of her crew.

The singer immediately took to Instagram, where she updated her fans with a video and photos of her completely wrecked Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

‘We just had an accident; everyone is feeling bad. Thank God no one died,’ MC Melody said. ‘A bus behind us hit our bus and look what happened.

‘The tour bus hit us and dragged all the other vehicles,’ the teen starlet said. ‘I’m showing it because it was a salvation, everyone is hurt, but we’re alive.’

MC Melody was seen lying inside an ambulance, which took her to a local medical facility.

Another video on her Instagram showed her and another young man sitting on hospital beds while a young woman was sitting on a wheelchair.

Despite pain in the head, body and hands, MC Melody fulfilled her obligations and sang to a sold-out crowd Saturday night.

Some of her millions of fans on Instagram were impressed with the teenager’s level of maturity to proceed with her show just hours after the scary accident.

‘Total professionalism (from) this girl, if it were another artist she would cancel the show,’ one of her followers said.

‘Melody is a true example of a person. Even after everything she will still put on the show,’ another added.

One follower applauded her commitment: ‘She’s a real artist. Most artists would use this to go a week without appearing at shows.’
