A popular brand of chips has been urgently pulled from the shelves of major supermarket stores due to an undeclared soy allergen.
Harvest Snaps pea crisps have been recalled by Calbee Australia after they were sold nationally at several retailers including Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, and Costco.
Several independent stores such as IGA and convenience stores such as 7-Eleven also stocked the product.
The items were sold at these retailers since June 6.
The soy allergen was found in several products, which were sold in regular bags, big share bags and multipacks of lunchbox-sized bags.
Five different Original Salted flavoured packages have been affected by the recall.
These include the 120g, 200g, 230g, 5 x 18g, and 50 x 18g packs.
Two different Salt and Vinegar flavoured packages sold in 120g and 230g packs have also been affected.

The affected products have a a best before date of 25/01/2025, 26/01/2025 and 29/01/2025.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Calbee Australia for comment.
Food Standards Australia issued a product warning for shoppers, who may be at risk.
‘Consumers who have a Soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,’ they said.
‘Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice’.
Consumers have been advised to return the products to the place where they bought them from to receive a full refund.
