Several domestic flights in and out of Sydney Airport have been cancelled as passengers complain of major delays.
Flights were disrupted amid wild weather on Friday evening, with seven outbound flights cancelled.
Eight flights due to land at Sydney Airport from around the country were also cancelled.
One passenger flying to Sydney from Melbourne claimed they were stranded on the tarmac at Melbourne Airport for four hours.
‘Madness at Sydney airport – multiple flights cancelled, airport staff ordering us out the airport (seriously guys – customer service) and zero support from the airline,’ another wrote on X.
‘A good thousand or so people milling around.’
That passenger shared a photo of dozens of travellers standing outside the airport with their luggage.
Flights from Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas were disrupted.
