An England supporter at a fan event in Newcastle was last night caught on live television putting a mystery powder up his nose and into his mouth. 

The unknown bearded man was among the hundreds of fans in the city’s Times Square celebrating Jude Bellingham‘s sensational overhead kick to send England’s last 16 clash with Slovakia into extra time. 

As the ecstatic crowd danced and broke out into a rendition of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, the fan, dressed in black, looked down and stuck his tongue out. 

He appeared to hold up a snuff spoon with what looked like white powder on top and then pressed the side of his nose with his finger before snorting the mystery substance. 

The Three Lions supporter seemed to be holding something else in his other hand which he dug his spoon into and then held it up to a nearby fan amid jubilant scenes around him.

He then puts the spoon into his mouth before looking laughing as he bounces around and claps his hands as he joins in with the England supporters’ anthem. 

The shocking footage emerged on Sky Sports News as the broadcaster showed live scenes from fan zones across the UK as former England manager Sam Allardyce discussed Bellingham’s dramatic equaliser.
