She became an overnight sensation when a video clip changed her life.
Now Katie Gregson-MacLeod has made her TRNSMT debut.
The 23-year-old singer from Inverness took to the King Tut’s stage on Glasgow Green yesterday.
Last night she said: ‘It’s a festival I’ve been aiming at for a while and it all came together.
I had the band with me, which is great for the bigger stage – the stars just aligned.

‘When I was maybe 18 I went to TRNSMT for the first time and that was great. I remember loving the music, getting drunk and having a great time. If anyone in the crowd this year has as much fun as I did, it’ll be a win.’
In 2022 we revealed how Ms Gregson-MacLeod, who worked in a coffee shop, uploaded a clip of her song Complex online before going to bed.
Next morning she was astonished to find it been played more than 100,000 times and covered by a string of musicians.
Her career took off and she has been signed by Columbia Records.
- Police made 11 arrests ‘for breach of the peace and minor assault offences’ on Friday, the first day of TRNSMT.
