Convicted murderer Greg Lynn has been attacked in jail, less then a week after he was found guilty over the murder of Carol Clay.
Human faeces were thrown at Lynn by a fellow inmate inside the Melbourne Assessment Prison last week, reports 7 News.
The inmate is understood to have been asked by another prisoner to attack Lynn.

Lynn is currently being housed in a protection unit in the prison where he is allowed to mix with other inmates.
Lynn is reportedly unhappy in jail and has already complained that the living conditions are not up to scratch.
One of the inmates at the prison is Lachlan Young, who allegedly killed 23-year-old Ballarat woman Hannah McGuire.
A Department of Justice and Community Safety Spokesperson said in a statement the department does not comment on individual cases of prisoners.
‘Corrections Victoria takes all incidents very seriously and refers all allegations of criminal activity and serious incidents to Victoria Police for investigation,’ they said.
